The hosts have done a wonderful job to ensure the place feels homely and welcoming. We really enjoyed using the log burner on chilly November evenings, with both local pubs and the coastal path within easy reach. The long cottage-style garden and decking at the end gave us a great spot to relax and BBQ with peaceful views of the rolling fields and hills. It was an easy walk down the very quiet Mill Lane (little/no traffic) to Seatown beach, Anchor pub/restaurant and a myriad of spectacular coastal footpaths. Along with the George Inn (50 yds away) and the Anchor there are plenty good eateries in the villages and bays/beaches along the coast, especially at Burton Bradstock. Lots of things to do – within walking and a short driving distance.read moreread less
